Hey i use google music beta as my main source for music. I was wondering if there was any way to have a widget that shows the album art because the default widget is just ugly

I don't think that you can do this on google music...buuuuutt if you want a widget that does do that you can use ubermusic app from the market..that has an album art widget

I took a look at UberMusic but I don't think it reads your Google Music library, just what's on your phone. I'd like to give this thread a bump and see if anyone has found something for this.

Also, if someone has a way of having the audio controls on the lock screen of the Droid 3 that'd be awesome. The Google Music widget is identical to the Music widget that comes preinstalled, but there's no lock screen controls. :(

I'm loving Google Music, now we just need to see software get smarter on ways of using it.

Needless to say, Widgetlocker is probably the easiest way to get a widget on the lockscreen. Phantom Music Widget works with Widgetlocker and (with a paid upgrade) works with Google Music.

Pure Music Widget is working on adding album art when Google releases the code for the Music app.

I can't wait for the final details to be worked out on Google Music. It's an awesome app and the whole cloud storage for music is ingenious. I use Google Music on three different Android devices and two computers. It works so well I will definitely pay for it (within reason) once it's out of beta.
