So I got the google music play streaming service on my google nexus 7 as well as my phone but everytime I add music to my library or add songs to playlist it takes up data space on my tablet, is this suppose to do this? I don't have any albums downloaded to listen to offline at the moment but last time I checked the app was taking up 40 mbs data, this might not seem like a big deal but it would be if I wanted to make lots of playlists

It caches stuff during playback, so it could be that? Head to settings and turn off all the caching options and see if that clears some space?

Seriously you canceled over 42mb usage on a 32gb device? That was extreme. Chrome is using over 90mb on my device already, but I still plan to keep on browsing. I think you should have used it for most of the 30 days before pulling the plug. You may have found the usage was worth it for a mere 0.1% of the storage.
