Google Nav and SVOX voices playing together

Hello,
I have installed SVOX TTS. It is working fine, but in Google Navigator I still get the default PICO voice as well as SVOX, so 2 instructions for every turn at different volumes. Is there a way to turn PICO off?

On my Nexus S I always had problems also. The problem was the opposite though, my voice directions would be extremely quiet regardless of the navigation volume. I never did figure out a solution
