Help Google Navigation - Ford Bluetooth not muting music for commands

I have my S3 connected to my car (Ford Mondeo 09) via bluetooth, which supports A2DP.
When I am streaming music from my S3 the google nav voice comes through the car speakers, but the problem is the music is not muted so the voice is trying to talk over the music and I cant hear the commands.

Does anybody know if there a way I can get the music to pause/fade whilst the nav commands are read please?
Alternatively, can i get the voice commands to play through the phone speaker whilst its connected via bluetooth (needed for calls).

At the moment I cant seem to do either of the above, therefore cant use the voice commands.

Thanks

What music program are you using to stream it with?

I just installed Google Play Music and it the same.

I wish the Google nav app had the option to choose either - play voice via bluetooth or via phone speaker

Install the app called "AudioBT", then you will be able to listen your music in AUX or USB mode and hear the navigation commands like an incoming call.
