Help Google Navigation/Maps not working right

Each time I hit "Speak Destination" I get an error message of "Unfortunately, maps has stopped." & the program closes. I haven't changed anything since I last used nav.

I'm on the latest update & OS. MAXX HD

If you have not already done so, how about go into settings>apps>all>click on Maps>clear cache>clear data>uninstall updates>uninstall the app>reboot>reinstall the app from google play. Not sure what else to recommend.

Already did that too. :(

I had the same issues on our Galaxy S3. Went into apps, then into Maps. I force stopped. Clear data/cache. Then uninstalled updates, and reinstalled them. Been working fine since.

Did you disable Google Search from your apps to get rid of that search bar at the top of your homescreen???

I did that as soon as I heard about it and that night I tried to use the voice search on my Nav and got the same message you did. When I got home I remembered I had disabled the Google Search, so I re-enabled it and tried my voice search and it worked. So I'm stuck with the Google Search bar, but at least I can use my voice search with my Google Nav.

Let us know if that fixes it for you.
