Google Navigation question...

SirGrant

Newbie
I use Navigation a Ton in my work (real estate appraiser) inputting 10-20 addresses daily. My question is this:
Sometimes when I'm inputting an address, it auto fills (and is pretty accurate). Other times it does not auto fill. What can I do to make it happen all the time?
A little more info, using a stock Droid Bionic in a car mount. Once it starts doing it, it'll do it until I remove it from the dock. I would estimate that it auto fills roughly 25% of the time when I start navigation.

I hope someone has an answer! Thanks in advance!

If I may ask a question of my own in here, OP, rather than start a new thread: when I plot a route with Google navigation, does it always show the fastest route by default? I haven't found a way in the settings to choose the fastest route-whereas with the Metro app, it gave you a choice between fastest, shortest, and simplest.

I don't know the answer to that one. I do know that it is far superior to TomTom which I used for a while before I started using Navigation. TomTom would get me lost or take me WAY out of the way for simple destinations quite often, while Nav is more "common sense" in it's routes.

Also, if I suspect that there is a quicker route and begin to take it, Nav reroutes very quickly. It seems to learn too. If it is sending me a certain way and I reroute, it will start using my route in the future. Pretty Awesome!

i doubt there's anything that can speed that up. it's just reading its massive street name db online.

can you enter all the addresses at night and star them? or do you get them during the day?

and really, dude...is it adding all that much more time anyway? :)

just kidding...
