Help Google Navigation Voice Commands Truncated

Hello all, I've just upgraded to the Sensation from the Desire and loving it so far!

However, I have one small niggle and wondered if anyone is experiencing the same thing?

I use a Jabra SP700 Bluetooth Hands Free when driving and have noticed that when using Google Navigation via the Jabra I lose the first few seconds of the voice instructions. For example, the voice is supposed to say "in 300 yards turn right onto King St", I will hear "urn right onto King St"

It seems like the Sensation disables the A2DP connection when not in use to save power but isn't switching it back on quickly enough. The voice prompts work perfectly on the phone natively and also works fine when using the Jabra to play music as well as navigate - in the latter example, the music is muted and the navigation voice says the command in full with no truncation as the music playing is keeping the A2DP link active.

This worked fine on my HTC Desire with the same Jabra BT device so it seems to be Sensation specific. There doesn't seem to be any user configurable settings to control the A2DP link timeout and I've searched the market to see if there's an app but with no success.

Any help, thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Not sure it is entirely a problem with the Sensation. I run mine linked by BT to a THB Bury CC9060 car kit and do not have this problem. I use it for Sygic GPS, CamerAlert and Google Nav and they all work fine with no cut off. So may be specific to your combination.

Yes I can see it seems to be my specific combination of the Sensation and Jabra SP700 ... However given the fact that the Desire\Jabra combination worked perfectly with both stock and custom Leedroid Froyo, but isn't working properly with my Sensation's stock Gingerbread setup then, assuming it's not hardware related, the only other difference I can see is that the Sensation is running Gingerbead.

Not sure how valid the comparison will be, but I think I'll try flashing as stock as possble Gingerbread ROM to my Desire and see if I can recreate the issue there.
