I have a Hero on Orange in the UK and was wondering when I can get Google navigator on my phone I have updated to the new rom but dont know if I have android 2 which apparently navigator needs to run.

At the moment you have Android 1.5 which does not have Google Navigator.
Currently we are all waiting for release from HTC team with new ROM upgrade which will skip Android 1.6 and have Android 2.0 with Google Navigator on it.
Just keep looking back to the forum and you wouldn't miss it

Actually just because we are getting 2.0, doesn't necessarily mean we are getting navigator.
It is currently in beta, and is US only. I suspect when it comes out of beta, anyone with an Android phone will be able to add it, but I doubt it will come with the 2.0 update

if it does not come with 2.0 you will be able to get it off the web or app store.
if you go to youtube and watch it you will want it for sure.

Even if you can, unless your in the US (which the OP isn't) it won't work. They are beta testing in the US, so there arn't any maps for outside the US yet.
