Google Now and Facebook

Has anyone successfully posted to their Facebook timeline by using speech-to-text from Google Now? There are instructions all over the net explaining how to do it, and I've followed them exactly. It consists of:
1. Adding a phone entry to Contacts with your Facebook posting email address (the @m.facebook.com one under Account Settings > Mobile, in Facebook).
2. Speak to GN saying, "send email to Wall (pause) testing Google Now"

I ended up naming the contact "Wall" since it misunderstood "Facebook," "FB Timeline," and even just "Timeline." Instead of sending email, it would present search listings for Facebook. By default, it sends the mail via Gmail. I opened Gmail's "sent" folder, and the message appeared to have been sent and correctly transcribed. Yet, nothing ever appears in my timeline. I then obtained a new Post-By-Email-Address (@m.facebook.com), updated it in my address book, and tried again. Once again, the Gmail transcription, addressing, and sent status all appeared normal, but I never get anything on my timeline. Finally, thinking it was a Gmail quirk, I downloaded the app Robin and retried the test. Robin uses the same context, but allows you to step through commands. That is, you say "send email" and it prompts you for how you want to send it. I chose the normal email app instead of Gmail. Then you select a contact and wave your hand over the phone. It wakes up, and then you dictate the message. Same deal as with GN/GMail… it transcribes and sends fine but nothing ever shows up on Facebook.

This would be such a handy feature, but I'm at a loss.

I never did find out why Google Now won't work with the FB post-to email, but I found a solution that does work. I reinstalled Robin and gave her another try. It turns out that the magic phrase is, "Update Facebook status" - she speaks back confirmation, asks permission to post (first time only), and bingo! Limited usefulness, but it works. This video was what clued me in (~ 6:30 in):
