Root Google Now for ICS

I was just over at Xda forums and found that "Google Now" from 4.1(Jelly Bean) can be ported to ICS. They are currently working on getting the voice functionality to work right, but otherwise it seems to be working on an alpha/beta stage(some bugs, no voice)

We got to get this!

Only problem for us is that we need a non-Sense Rom to get it to work, which isn't too much of an issue.

I would like to post a link to that forum, but I believe it is against the rules. Just search for it on Xda.

EDIT: Jumped the gun on this a bit. Still a lot of work to be done, but it is promising...

It actually does work on the Evo V 4G. The voice search does not work but you can type in the search bar,get cards going etc. I have also been able to use the speech part of swiftkey to avoid typing. But be clear: the actual voice part in the app is not working. They are having a lot if issues there with people not getting that concept even though it is in the thread title!

The jelly bean play store, play music, magazines, books, and tv and movies also are working on the evo V. I am running a sense rom as well.
