Google Now From Lock Screen?

[Norrec]

Hey Guys,

I've read places that 4.2+ can access Google Now from the lock screen. My s5 has 4.4.2, but I don't seem to see this option anywhere. Did they disable this for the s5?

Thanks,

My understanding is Yes, KitKat turned that feature off.
Don't know why.
