Help Google now sound

Hi guys does anyone know how to make google now to speak. Mine always stays silent it doesn't read out loud the search results.

Is your phone on silent or vibrate? If so then you won't hear anything until turn on the sound profile.

I have it off silent and vibrate but still no sound.

Does anyone on Verizon have theirs working I know the international one might have sounds.

Under google settings under voice make sure voice output is set to on

I wonder if the last update broke it since mine used to work and doesn't seem to now

Google voice sound is actually under "System Volume". When you adjust the volume with the volume key, click the button on the right and bring your "System Volume" all the way up. Unfortunately, this also means your dialer sounds are super loud.

Lg has got their volume sliders all screwy. The Text volume is part of the Media volume when it should be part of the notification volume. And Now that volume is wonky. Not sure why they did it that way.

The sound feature that bugs me is that it doesn't always link my ringtone and notification sounds like my last few phones. I could have my volume all the way up but when a notification comes in it'll be quieter than r2d2 under the swamp on Dagobah.
