Root Google Now without ROM

First off, all the devs are doing great and I have been really enjoying ICS on the Spectrum. A couple of the new ROMS have Google Now and I would really like to use it. I am rooted and unlocked on ics, but I didn't know if there was a way to just get Google Now installed by itself without flashing one of the Roms that Bones or Azoller made. Thanks!

if you have cwm(if your unlocked you should) then all you have to do is reboot to recovery and flash the zip from the link below

*** http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hsos53699wq2ttm thats the one you should download

*** http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747224 heres the origional thread for it over at xda.. i would advise reading over it

its always best to read about what your flashing before you do it

its simple.. just save the zip to your sd and flash it... if you run into any issues.. reboot to recovery and wipe cache.. then go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache.... if that doesnt fix issues try fix permissions in cwm.. me and imucarmen have flashed it a few times with no issues(maybe more but im not sure) i hope i helped ya out..
