Google occupational codes for the military

KBU2

Android Expert
It's known that people that served in the military have occupations that serves under several different skills and they didn't know where exactly their occupation lies as a citizen on what jobs are available for their expertise after leaving the military. Google has designed a site for people leaving the military and by entering their occupational code so military veterans can seek jobs just by adding their specialist code. And it's so simple you can do it from your Android device. I can't thank each and every service veteran for serving our country so this is a feeble attempt to showing my appreciation for your dedication in serving our great country. I hope you can find some used of any information that Im sharing here. Thank You All.

Sounds good but what if your job was really specific? Can it handle 81150A from the post Vietnam era before the USAF changed to Security Forces? I was a USAF Law Enforcement K-9 Officer. My Dog was named Prince.

I don't need Google to tell me I should work in Security. :(

Well you wouldn't know until you try entering your specific skill code. By being a veteran and depending on your rank you maybe come administrator over a security Department that may pay in the mid 6 figures:thinking:

Just like the Rolling Stone song goes you can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you might find you get what you need.

Nope. Never made Sargeant. I was a Senior Airman. 3 stripes but more like an Army Tech Specialist. They trained with us in Texas. Good people but they prefered to walk. Us wingnuts liked to be trucked to our AO.

Okay so is this a cop out or are you're going to see what opportunity awaits you. With your expertise your skills maybe wanted in somebody's major airport that handles the K9 unit Department that pays pretty damn good:thinking:

OT: i flew in a helicopter with Prince between my knees for a training mission. The crew did a 180° turn. Prince and I bonded then. We were both scared shistless!

IBRB after i try it.

Gift guy. I like that... Major Gift Guy..
Why would you need an officer?
Does that job allow pets/partners?

Sorry not sure where you're going with that one? I'm wondering where did you get the officer rank requirement at from the information I offered?

Update: Oh I see what you're talking about now. I think that site would work best if you sign up and enter your location you may be interested in finding gainful employment in.

So dog handlers (All US Forces) should work in Security?
I don't think so. There is a lot of paperwork and budget considerations if you're running a Kennel.
My Kennelmaster was a Senior NCO.
I never appreciated him back then...
