There's been a lot of worry about drones delivering packages and those drones hurting pets, damaging property or having delivered products stolen after being dropped off.
A new patent filing from Google's Project Wing shows a vision that could make things much safer and more secure. Instead of having a drone land on your property, the drone would transfer a package to a sort of 'box on wheels' type of robot. Who would then go and deliver the package to a commercial property where delivery companies can then take the product to your house.
