Help Google photos signs me out...

When I download a photo from Google Photos, it signs me out after the download finishes. the only way to download another photo is to go to Google.co.uk (where I'm still signed in) and go to Photos again. I'm curious as to why this should happen (Browser is Firefox 90.0.1), but I can download OK in Chromium and stay signed in.

in the app you get signed out? that's odd if so. have you tried to wipe cache and data for the app?

Not the app, in Firefox 90.0.1, oddly enough it's OK in Chromium Version 92.0.4515.107 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit). OS is Manjaro XFCE.

why not use the app? never used Photos in my browser on my phone......pc yes, phone no.
