I have a Samsung s5. When I try to access my photos in Google Photos, it tells me I need to update. When I try to update, it goes to app and just keeps "working". I've tried restarting phone, same problem. Any ideas...?
Is it asking you to update the app (in playstore) or update the photo uploads to google drive? In either case you need a data (preferably wifi) connection. If its the first time you have used Photos it will be trying to upload every photo on your S5 to googles servers.
