Google Pixel Xl vs Motorola Droid Turbo II

At the end of February, my Motorola Droid Turbo is up for an upgrade. I between Google Pixel XL and the Motorola Droid Turbo II. My husband has the Droid Turbo II and it's a great phone. My oldest son recommends the Google Pixel XL. The first thing I notice is the difference in the megapixels for the camera - 12.3 vs 21 mp that's a huge difference. I'm told that it's still a great phone and using the camera. Any thoughts for someone on the fence?

Thank you in advance!

I went from the Droid Turbo to the Pixel with no regrets. I thought I would miss wireless charging and the active display for notifications, but I quickly got over it. Without question this is my favorite phone to date.

Megapixels aren't everything. The Pixel/Pixel XL have one of the highest rated smartphone cameras. The camera is great on this phone.

I have no complaints about the Pixel XL but in the end, only you can decide which phone best suits your needs. For me, rooting is important, so I've always been a fan of Google's phones. I also like the stock Android experience.
