Google play game notification

[tupjohn]

Google play all of the sudden is notifying me of games. It did last night at 3am. Is there a setting to stop this?

I have ATRIX 4g with gingerbread. Thanks

You're getting recommendations for games in notifications? Pop ups? I doubt this is a Google Play thing, unless it's something new that I'm not aware of. More likely, it's another app you installed promoting specific games with something like airpush. If rooted, droidwall or adfree will likely solve the issue. If not? I've read good things about Airpush Detector and Addons Detector for finding offending apps. They won't block or remove the offending app, but will tell you which need to go.

That's perfect thank you. I will give one of this a try
