Root google play help

Newbie
whenever i open google play, all i see is the categories section, i tried flashing different Roms with no success, any suggestions?

Try this. This is an older version of the market.

INSTALL:

Download and place the zip file on your sd card.
Boot into CWM
Navigate to the zip file and flash it.
Reboot.
PROFIT!!

DOWNLOAD- CWMmarketInstaller.zip


Just sign into the market and let it update. It may take some time to update to the newest version but it will.

Hope this'll get you up and running. There is a newer version in the Marquee section somewhere but this one should work fine. I've used it many, MANY times. :D

Since you're already rooted, I highly recommend installing either Megatron or CTMOD. :)

I see from your info listed that you are a Boost user. I personally tested the Boost version of Megatron for months. If you want to stay with a stock based custom ROM, please give Megatron a try. I think you'll like it. :D

If you would like a slimmed down custom ROM that runs super smooth then I highly recommend CTMOD. I have worked with Bloodawn for several years testing his ROMs and they are VERY well built. He also offers several different kernels too. As a matter of fact, Megatron is running one of Bloodawn's custom overclocked kernels.

Both Chevanlol360 and Bloodawn both have my utmost respect for their contributions to the devices they support and I would have no second thoughts when it came down to running either of their ROMs.


It all boils down to exactly what you want in a ROM. I suggest trying each of them and seeing which best fits your needs.

The only way to find out which is best for you is to try them both. lol ;)

I suggest taking a little time and reading through the 1st few posts of each ROM's thread. You will be able to get the stats on each and what they contain.


Sorry for such a long post but I figured I would go ahead and give you a heads up on 2 awesome ROMs that you have the choice of running.

The stock rooted version of the Marquee is OK but if you truly want to get the most out of your phone, please consider choosing one of the ROms I've mentioned.

i ran ct mod 3.80, megatron 6.2.5, miui alpha(both ics and jb) and all of them have the same result :( i know its not the roms so i dont know what to do...:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
 
Try deleting cache from Google play services all data from Google play uninstall updates then reboot if it didn't work I don't know what else would work.
