Google Play Music Equalizer Bass Boost Grayed Out

Anyone had this issue? I noticed a few days ago that my bass booster setting is grayed out and can no longer adjust it when there are no earphones plugged it.

Any solution? Thanks.

Just to get the obvious out, are you positively sure that it can be adjusted before without headphones?

Yes, sir. I noticed the difference when I started playing a song and went to the equalizer settings and saw the bass booster setting was greyed out.
