I have a Droid Razr M.
So I updated my phone to 4.4.2 and when I did it accidentally ejected the SD card and I was foolish and thought that the phone still recognized the card, I should have restarted and it would have fixed the problem completely.
Instead of doing that I cleared the cache of songs, so it removed them all from local, or so I thought, I was content with having to put all 2000 songs back onto my phone just fine and doing it overnight or something like that. Instead whenever I tried to add music it would tell me that more music couldn't be added on the SD card, the SD card still had about 30GB left on it, but it had no problem adding it to the phone's storage, of which there is only about 1.7GB left in there. So through troubleshooting I came to the conclusion that it will not add anymore songs to the phone because the names that it wants to use are already in the Android -> data -> com.google.android.music -> files folder. That's my assumption at least. If you need anymore information, I think I covered everything but I don't remember.
