Google play music store

[Paradroid90]

I have always purchased CD's so that a had the best possible audio quality. I'm considering purchasing music from Google play music store but what kbps are the mp3 files?
If not lossless, is there a way of purchasing lossless format?

Given the issue with playing music in 3rd party apps (another post) I am downloading my music from Google Music as we speak.

I've purchased a couple of albums since joining Google Music, so as soon as one of them copies down I'll let you know what format it is in.

Assuming someone else doesn't answer first.
