Google Play Music

Hello guys, couldn't find an appropriate answer anywhere on the internet (Maybe I just don't know how to write it?) but here is my question:

I've got 20 gbs worth of music on my OPO, and I just recently uploaded ALL of my music to the google play music service (about 40~ gbs), so now I can see on the app all of my music. The thing is, what about the music I already had locally on my device? If I play one of those songs will they stream from the service cloud? or play directly from the local memory? Is there any way to visualize only local files? The thing is I uploaded the 40 gbs just because one day in a distant future I might want to listen to Eminem once again, but I am 100% happy with the 20 gbs I had already uploaded directly to my device, and I really do not want to download every one of those songs again. Any info on this? Lots of thanks!

Speaking of Google Play Music:

Does anyone know what files Google Play Music is storing up on my phone, when I stream everything? I bet it doesn't take a week before this app is my biggest memory hog, taking up 2GB or more of storage. So I regularly have to go to Settings --> Applications --> ALL --> Sort by Size and clear cache and data on Google Play Music. Then I open Google Play Music, select the Google account to log in, and all my stuff comes back.

But for the life of me, I can't figure out what on earth Google Play Music is storing! I appreciate any help here. Thanks :)

It's probably caching the media files. Check in Music's Settings to see if Cache during playback is enabled.

There's an option in the app settings to "Clear cache", which will save you a few taps. :)
