Google Play Problems

Im sorry if this is the wrong area to put this thread. Someone please help me out here, I'm about to tear my hair out.
I love my new Sony Xperia Z1s, but can't get the Google Play store to work on it. I really don't want to deal with the hassle of factory reset. It worked at first, barely. It struggled even to download anything, but it works fine with any other app store *cough* amazon *cough* and fine online. Google Play always says no connection. I've made sure the time and date is correct. I've had it manually set, and automatic. I've cleared cache. I've cleared data. I've restarted the phone. I've uninstalled updates from Google Play. I've checked to make sure no apps were disabled. I've force closed download manager. I've cleared data on it. I've removed all Google accounts, and reentered a new account through Google Play, still no luck. I've removed all Google accounts again, and made a new account through Google Play. No luck. I tried using Bluetooth from my galaxy to send an old apk of Google Play to my Sony to reinstall. I've tried using the same method, only then using the most recent Google Play version to reinstall. Both no luck. I've tried various wifi networks with noluck. I don't have data, this phone is wifi only. My galaxy is my data/calling/texting phone.I've tried every method I could find online. I've been here for hours. Will someone please please help?

Hmm, that is a really strange issue.

Have you tried resetting your router just to try and see if it fixes it?

Otherwise try removing the Wifi from your phone and re-entering it, as well as seeing how the store runs on Data.

Lastly, you might just want to perform a reset to see what happens. :(
