Google Play: Uploading & Publishing Errors

Newbie here. I have some questions about submitting apps to Google Play based on the error im seeing.

I'm unsuccessful in trying to upload an APK with a package name that has already been pre-installed in devices but not in Google play.

Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, how was it resolved?

Hi, welcome to Android Forums! :ciao: Are you referring to an application that is pre-installed on a device when you buy it or are you referring to one that you created and is only on devices you own? I'm kinda confused.

I'm referring to an application that has been pre-installed in some devices
with the same package name but has not yet been released or uploaded in Google play. So when I attempt to upload the apk in Google Play the admin tool or the Developers Console fails to upload. The error says I need to use a different package name because this is is currently used by a pre-installed application. It also says to contact Google Play Dev if i need to upload a pre-installed app and i have but it has been 2 days and not much of a response or a contact persons name...

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this similar road block and how it was resolved.
