Google Play

I can't figure it out, but ever since Market was changed to Google Play, I have been low on space and had to remove 10 applications in order to stop the notification about low space. It seems that Google Play is a space hog and Google won't reply to my emails. Any ideas? Thanks

What kind of device do you have:confused:

It could just be that Google is now warning you earlier about low space...

The Google Play update used up at least 10mb. I can't even install the Facebook update because it used up 5mb that I cannot spare. I just uninstalled all the updates from the Google mandated applications and gained 30mb.

Do you have an sd card inserted in order to move your apps from phone to sd card? It would also help if you indicated what phone you have.

I have a Motorola Android 2.2 but I don't know what dessert it is named after, ie, eclair or ICS. And yes, I have an sd that I move apps to.

Settings> Applications>Manage>Maps>Uninstall updates.

...works for me, at least. It’s a huge update and the app works fine without it.
