Hi sis4auburn, and welcome to AF :)

To help people identify your problem, could you give a bit more information? For example, what phone, does this happen on cellular data only, or also on WiFi? And are you sure your google login credentials are correct?

You'll get more views in the Android Applications forum. Perhaps post there, or else one of us will move this thread if you prefer.

Make sure your phone email is the same one you login to the Play store, also if still having issue, go to apps and click on play store, and clear cache a data and sign back in.
 
Try turning off your connection and turning it back on, or try using Wi-Fi/Mobile Data if your having problems with another connection. If you tried all of that, it may be a problem with the play store itself.
