Hi
I recently purchased a samsung galaxy S4 and downloaded all my music onto new phone from old one.Initially with no probs, now for some reason there is a problem with the volume, ie.difficult to hear at full volume [no,I dont have any hearing difficulties]I have had the handset checked out with no problems, all other apps have no problems with sound.
Would appreciate any advice,suggestions etc.
Thank you in advance.:)

Have you checked to be sure 'safe listening volume' is disabled in the settings-->sound or in the music app?

Could be the headphones. For my phone the loudest headphones were Sony. Others like from the dollar store or earbuds never had enough volume. For some reason the sound is extremely low playing music through stereo Bluetooth headsets but calls come in loud and clear. Not sure why.

In my xperia, there is a volume enhancement called X-LOUD, which is when in an enabled state the phone will never allow me to increase the media volume level to maximum surpassing the safe hearing volume level. Try, checking whether your phone any such kind of enhancement facility and if so disable it before you increase the media volume in your settings..
