Why? You'll have to root to remove the Play Store. If you're on 4.0+, you can disable the Play Store through Settings - Applications.

You're aware that you wouldn't be able to download apps from the Play Store, then, right? (although I'm guessing that's the goal--in which case disabling it is actually the best option since it can be easily restored).
