Google plus log in

I need to know have to save every thing !!!! Please any help Will be thanked .. As you all know Google plus is leaving which puts some of us in a bind . Im sure this will effect every one on Cell phones and any Android Emulators ,, As i was looking It says this for all my games and stuff

Delete your Play Games profile

This will delete your Play Games profile for * my profile name *(My Gmail account ).
  • This will delete your Play Games profile, Gamer ID, and data that Google has stored with your profile and Gamer ID, such as experience points, achievements, and saved games.
  • You will be logged out of all games that you played using your Gamer ID.
  • This will not delete games or game data saved on your devices or web browsers.
  • This will not delete data collected or stored by game developers.

Will i still be able to play or will every thing be gone ?
How will i be able to log in ?
As using the Emulators in created the gamer id for me and many others im sure .
Or is the death of my Gaming ? and other things ?
Im about ready to have a panic attack on this *Why google why ?*

As you know soon Google will be having there own streaming gaming service so why do this to the gamer tags and stuff

I don't know why you're being told to do that--but I wouldn't! Look at what you're losing by doing it...

It's only Google+ that's going away. Which I've never used anyway, and don't know anyone else who has either. It does NOT affect anything else, not your apps, not your games, not your Gmail, and not anything else

Mike, please take another look at the OP. @MsBlocksWorth says:

"As i was looking It says this for all my games and stuff

I don't know where she's seeing that--"As i was looking It says" doesn't help much--but if it's actually from Google...I don't even know what to say! Why on earth would they tell people to do that?

This is the official statement page from Google...

On April 2nd, your Google+ account and any Google+ pages you created will be shut down and we will begin deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts. Photos and videos from Google+ in your Album Archive and your Google+ pages will also be deleted. You can download and save your content, just make sure to do so before April. Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.

The process of deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts, Google+ Pages, and Album Archive will take a few months, and content may remain through this time. For example, users may still see parts of their Google+ account via activity log and some consumer Google+ content may remain visible to G Suite users until consumer Google+ is deleted.

Absolutely no mention of Gamer ID or any other Google account services at all. I do have a Gamer ID, but have never signed into Google+. It is your Gamer ID that retains all your game progress, scores, achievements, etc across multiple Android devices registered to the same Google account, including emulators. And that's not going away AFAICT.

If you've shared anything socially to Google+, that's what's been deleted.

@MsBlocksWorth the sky is only falling for Google+ users, and nobody else, aright?

Thanks, @mikedt. So my advice to the OP not to follow those instructions is good.

OP, please let us know exactly what you were reading that told you to delete all that stuff. Where/who did it come from? And DON'T DO IT!

What’s happening?
On April 2, 2019 we are shutting down the consumer (personal) version of Google+, a social network by Google.
If you want, you can download and save your Google+ data; this may take time so get started before March 31, 2019.
If you have a G Suite Account, as part of your work or school, you can continue to use Google+ within your organization.
No other Google products (such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, YouTube) will be shut down as part of the consumer Google+ shutdown. The Google Account you use to sign in to these services will remain.
You can delete your Google+ account before the consumer Google+ shutdown.

when i gone to the page for deleting it said what i said above Im so confused

When I follow that link, I'm not seeing the text you included in your OP, which started with: "Delete your Play Games profile

This will delete your Play Games profile for * my profile name *(My Gmail account ).

  • This will delete your Play Games profile, Gamer ID, and data that Google has stored with your profile and Gamer ID,..."

Where does that come from? Perhaps I'm just missing it on the page you cited.

Don't worry! We'd love to help, and I think we pretty much already have. Re-read @mikedt's posts, and take my advice NOT to do the deletion outlined in your first post. You should be fine then.

But if you're still unclear on anything or need more help, just do the best you can to explain it, and do the same if we ask for info.

We're here to help. :D
