On Google's Mobile Blog today, they linked to a new version of the Search app for Android:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox
I never had this installed. I thought it was part of Android, not a separate app. Has anyone installed this app? I did and can't see any difference.
Note, it looks like the blog post isn't there anymore and the app in the Market says last updated 10/11/10.
