Google Search Bar - Resize or Remove

Is there anyway to resize or remove the google search bar on the home screen of the Droid Force without having to change Launchers? I am just trying to make it smaller, so that the Google App and Clock are on the same line on the home screen.

I don't think so. 3rd party launchers let you control the grid.

Hi, if you are referring to the standard Google Search widget, on my HTC M9 and M7, if I press, hold and release the widget I get the blue resize frame around the widget and have two reduced width options as shown in the screen shot. I don't know whether this is a device specific option but it may be worth trying.

Thanks! The top bar seems impossible to remove or resize. When I add a new Google search widget I am able to resize it, how I want (second Google widget pictured) but still cannot remove or resize first one.

I hate to go to a different launcher but maybe the only choice.

You can go into the home screen settings and remove the Google search option and then add Google search widget, which is resizable.
