Help Google Search (Now) - HOW do I change browser for the primary results?

So, got Jb up on my S3,

One thing really bugging me, after a factory reset, I've added a widget for 'Google Search' again (the long rectangle with the mic on the far right), which is the same as before, only this time it advised me about the 'now' stuff.

I type subject, (or speak it), and the results come up in a very neat but MOBILE looking format, one that is not familiar. After I click one of these results, it brings up the site, using my default Opera Mobile browser (which I 'always' selected on first use.

The thing is, this 'middleman' wasn't working for my phone, before the update, the primary results came up in Opera, my familiar, fast, DESKTOP view engine.

I CANNOT figure out how to revert. This is my main use of my phone, bar communication. It's not like I'm using something completely different, it looks the same, has it been hijacked?

Any whizzes out there care to help, I would be very grateful!
My phone is not rooted, it is an OTA JB update from my provider I assume.

It's called Google now. That's how it works. It gives you the results within the app.

Cheers, but what I have selected as a widget, on my home page, was the Google search widget, no difference, other than it did the same search, via text or talk, but didn't take over my results like some rogue Nazi.

Surely Google 'Now' should be labelled as such when adding widgets. I even have two Google search bars available, (one showing the rectangle field, the other a blue G, which looks similar when added to home screen) both have been hi-jacked.

Anyone thing it's possible to get hold of the original,which will be hard to find, since the name of the widget seems identical evidently...

Nothing has Been hijacked. It came with the jellybean update.

It's still the same search. It's just called Google now, but just labeled as Google.

It does way more than just search though, but really what's the big deal of the answers coming back within the app?
