Help Google Search Suggest Stock Browser

I know it's trivial but it's driving me nuts.

When I type in the google search bar with stock browser the google suggest drop box appears as normal. When I touch my selection in the drop box though, the box and the keyboard goes away and nothing else happens. It doesn't finish the text or do a search. I have to correctly spell out my entire search and hit the search icon. The drop boxes seem to work on all other sites.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I am having the same issue. Can't find a solution. I assume it is also linked to the inability to clear search history though. A little strange running a Google os and Google instant doesn't work properly...

try touching small arrow, located near your choice in drop box

my wife pointed this out to me also. both our phones do this as well.
(dolphin hd works properly) watching for a fix or updates. sometimes its just good not to be the only one.

As Sahara said, touch the small arrow. I know, it's lame and takes getting used to, but it does work.
