Help Google search when home button is used

Not sure what is going on. But when in some apps (Pandora, Etrade, etc..),especially Chrome. If I hit the home button, a stupid Google search come up. If I keep hitting it nothing happens. If I hit back just makes it worse

If you hold the home button for too long by mistake it goes to Google search. Phil
