I've just come across a problem I believe. When trying to use the Google search widget I can get part of a search typed in when it will hang for quite some time then either continue (sometimes) or Force Close (most of the time). It always seems to hang as you type the fifth letter. I'm using Velocity 1.2, Go Launcher EX with Honeycomb theme, not overclocked, smartass governor, stagefright enabled, and using the Google Search All widget that's built into the Rom (not Go Launcher's). I don't use it all the time, but it is easier than opening a browser, and I'm posting it as a probable bug. I have another Ally set up the same but it only has wifi (not activated) have the same set-up with the same results. Could it be waiting on a response from Google's servers to start the auto suggest feature? Just thought you'd like to know about it.

Which widget are you using? The themed or the unthemed?
Go Launcher is themed with the honeycomb theme. I don't think the widget is.
