Help Google search widget.. Crippled?

[homey]

Can any one tell me why the search widget on the S3 does not search email at all as part of universal search? My friend just bought an HTC One x and the Google search widget on that phone seems to search way more stuff than on the S3 !!Is there an updated widget available?

Because some moron in the patent office allowed Apple to patent "searching for things". Apple then sued everyone and their mother who had a search feature. So they had to remove the feature.

I thought that this had initially been removed by Samasung 'accidentally' and put back again within days!
Also, the search feature on HTC phones seems to be more fully featured - are Samsung the only company to modify the universal search feature?

It went back in the international models, it was removed by error. (they said)

Here in the UK, I think we do have the international model but still don't seem to have the full widget..

It was put back within days for international phones.
