This is really bad news I think. Perhaps I am wrong but I believe that the Nexus was the only phone available that got it's software updates when they became available from Google not months ( almost a year for the Rogers Magic) while the carriers and manufacturers fiddle around with promises of updates.

Really dissappointed. I mean they only had it for sale for about six months and even less than that here in Canada. Now we are at the mercy of the carriers again or we void our warranty and root.
 
They should have kept the same sales model only sell it in stores like Best Buy, Costco, Radio Shack, etc. Allow people to play with a display model before purchase.
