Another poster mentioned Maps 5.0 was out. I didn't have it on my MT4G so I went to market and updated it. My question is...how do I get notified about updated apps from Google? I know I get update notifications about apps I originally downloaded from the market, but what about the stock apps?

go to the market, hit menu button, tap my apps(called my downloads in old market), you will get a list of all your downloaded apps, now tap on a app and
you will see where is says "allow auto updating" check this box if you want to.
you must do this for each individual app
