Hi I have the Samsung Note 2, Google app updates and screws the phone with "com.android.systmui" when i close an app. I go to app manager and uninstall updates which cures the problem, Here is the rub the next day Google updates again...................... Help how can i stop this please

Mine is still working fine....

If its got itself into a major funk, might be time to consider making sure you've got a backup of everything, and then doing a full reset (which i did about 4 months ago)

Well.. I have a note II and the google updates aren't a problem. however something is going wrong with your com.android.systmu

So... if you do a reset.. before you restore your apps or anything else, i'd let it do all of the updates first, and then see if its still working.

If it is, then bring in the apps individually... if it isn't you've got a simpler troubleshooting thing, as you've ruled out all of the apps.

Got a Note 2 with fully updated Google apps with no problems too. You probably got a corrupted software base that the update isn't liking.

Latest sorry its an old phone but until the Chrome update it was working fine for me. Well spent 4 hours doing backup, factory reset, reinstall apps and guess what................ back to "com.android.systemui" and locked phone. Spoke with Google who tried to say it was Samsung fault and speak to them. I will tomorrow to see what Samsung say but i feel its Google thats at fault here. Watch this space for further "updates" :-)
