Google Voice and Wave Invites and Requests

I am still waiting for my invites so I can send them out, just wish people would stop leaving visitor messages
 
I'll be honest: I asked/begged/prostituted myself for a GVoice invite with no avail. I ended up going to eBay and buying one for $5. :(

That being said, once I set up my account, any invites I get will be dispersed in this forum (by order of request, of course). If anyone is interested in Google Wave however, please feel free to post your email and I'll send one. I have 20+ invites.
 
Got an invite from a friend. Its setup, well sort of.

When you send a text message from the internet (web browser) and someone replies back, it does not show up as your contact, just some random number and then the actual phone number of the person. Is this by design? I guess I have to setup Google contacts separate from the contacts in my phone?

Also, I have not activated the Google voice mail part of it yet. When I do, does this totally get rid of my Verizon voice mail? Or do I still get to access both?

Sorry for the n00b questions. If someone wants to PM me so it does not take away from people requesting invites in this thread, that is fine too.

I just joined here today and from all the people on here willing to help others out, i would like to do the same.

First person who replies to this will get a GV invite i have 1 left.
 
I read through almost all the posts here but not everyone has said if they recieved one or not, hard to tell who has and who hasnt gotten an invite yet.

I had no clue what google voice was when I set my INC up but now I know and it is bad ass, anyway I could get an invite..? I'd appreciate it and of course would help whoever I could with an invite, thanks in advance. my gmail is

Yeah, I want 1 too and I don't want to double post, but I saw where someone had posted 10 links for a free invite on a google search, but I mean it was from last yr, but it's cool to know people will help other people, this is by far the best forum I've ever joined.
 
It's Friiiday and I ain't got no job, I ain't got Sh*t to do. I just wanna get a GV invite and play with this INC. Will puff, puff, GV and pass it on.

Looks like not many people have more invites. I just wish the verizon people didn't lead me to believe that if you get a google phone, you get access to google voice. Guess I'll just have to wait a while.
