Google Voice Invite?

So as most i'm confused on how to get good voice, I've submitted to google for an invite but haven't heard anything and I recently deleted my VVM app becuz im not paying 2.99 a month extra....now I dont have any way to get notifications that i have voicemails...cept a msg from Verizon telling me to reinstall VVM [my service is being stopped after this billing cycle since i'm already paying for it this month]...which i assume msgs will stop when the service is removed?...can someone with a google voice acct invite me? My email is mattfigel@gmail.com
 
If VVM is all your after try ribbit mobile, their transcriptions are a little better than google voice's anyway. Not as full featured but do offer a softphone which is cool if your into that sort of thing!

Its an invite ask type thing like GV but it only took about 24 hours to get mine....sorry though dont have any left
 
ANother related ques, i've set up the google voice..etc, but I do not see a shortcut in my apps list for Google Voice? I have a Toogle for making calls but theres no shortcut to open the app?
 
Does anyone have any invites left for GV? I would like an invite Please! Also, how do i get the google voice vm thing on my phone, is there an app shortcut for it?!?!

I don't think you need an invitation anymore. Google announced last month that signup was open...unless that has changed again recently.

There is an app in the android market for GV and tutorial videos on their site on how to set everything up.
