Help Google Voice Newbie Questions

I just received a new Nexus One that I'm using on T-Mobile. I plan to sign up to Google Voice and get a new Google phone number. When I can I will use Google Voice for both phone calls and texting.

If somebody calls my T-Mobile phone number can I set it up so that it also goes to Google Voice Mail? In other words can I use Google Voice both ways on the same phone?

yes, you can. basically you would be using your Google voice mail for your regular number and Google voice number

Make sure that Google Voice is set as your default voicemail service. This is usually done when setting up the Google Voice app for the first time. If you're not sure if your phone is set up properly, Click menu, settings, call settings, voicemail service, then choose Google Voice as your default service.
