Google Voice Phone Number

Yeah, it started all of a sudden. Not after an upgrade, so not sure what is going on. I saw other people having the problem, but no solution. I might try and reinstall it later and see if the problem is still there.
 
So now my wife tried to call me today... and she got Michael's voice mail (I AM NOT MICHAEL!)

When she tried again a few hours later she actually spoke to Michael.
Michael has ATT and he confirmed that we both have the SAME NUMBER!!

Google Voice wants to charge me $10 to change my GV number, but that is ridiculous...

I have searched all over but I cant find a number to speak with a representative..

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Guess ill just have to disable GV!?!?
 
Wow, I didn't even think that was possible. It seems you're not the only one. I googled it and a lot of people are having/had this issue.

Sorry dude, it sounds like you made an unlucky pick.

I don't think they have a customer service line (I could be wrong). The best you can do is submit a complaint or trouble ticket and hope they respond.
 
Ok...

So now I set up a second GMail account and used that to make a new number...

I still have to test this to see if it works, but in the mean time.. how do I delete My/Michael's phone number?

I need to deactivate it, but I dont see that option anywhere!
