google voice text queueing

What is up with the GV app? Lately it queues all my text messages, whether I have a signal or not. I have messages from hours ago it hasn't sent. Please help -is there any workaround or setting change to fix this. It seems to be recent, and it's driving me nuts! Thanks

Whatsapp, gtalk, who the hell uses sms anymore?

I use Google voice so I have one number as a point of contact. Now I have these messages not being sent, and I don't know what's not coming in.
I thought the last upgrade was supposed to queue messages if there was no connection, then send them. It's buggy, and frustrating.

So far, after Uninstall/Reinstall, I'm okay.
Of course, that is only a few hours...!
