Help Google Voice - VM Issues

Is there a way to change the number of rings before Voice mail picks up the call?

I had a call come in this morning, and answered it on the second ring. I could not hear the caller, but I could hear the voice mail prompts.

I'm not sure, but I think with Sprint VVM, I could select the number of rings before VM answered. I may, however, be wrong.

Thread moved to the troubleshooting section. This does not look like it is related to rooting.

As far as I know you can not select the number of rings in Sprint Visual Voice Mail or in Google Voice. There is a setting that lets you screen the call so that it can be sent to voicemail or answered though.

I put this in the rooting section, since this is a result of my rooting my Hero

Rooting your handset probably would not cause this. Do you have the latest version of Google Voice? It was recently updated. I think either last week or the week before.

If you really feeling rooting caused it, then boot into recovery and wipe cache and Dalvik cache. See if that clears things up.

I rooted my Hero yesterday. I have Google Voice v4.2.32. That's the latest one on the market.

Maybe I am just paranoid, but maybe someone is out to get me.;)
