Hey guys so i just downloaded the google voice app. I am setting it up and when entering in the pin it says it the phone number could not be verified. anyone know what i could do to get this app to work

I have a GV account and downloaded the upgrade. I found the widgit, but cannot send a .txt message from it...just not responsive. I can see my voice mails though . What am I doing wrong
