For some reason I can use my Eris to call out using google voice, but when people try to call me using google voice number they get "call can't be completed as dialed". Any help would be appreciated.

Did you activate your phone through the Google Voice site on a computer? In the GV settings online, make sure the box is checked to forward the calls to your mobile phone and the mobile phone number entered is correct.

Yes I activated my phone thru google voice. And I have the right phone number for my forwarding Cell.

Are you able to send a text from your phone to the GV number? And from the web based GV panel to the cell? I am just guessing here because I have no idea what you have or haven't done. Did you download and install the Google Voice app from the market? You have to run it once also to activate it.

Yes, I am able to send a text from the google number. I did download the google voice app and activate it. Keep it up maybe I missed something.
