Google voice

Lurker
Google used to let you use both of your phone numbers. When you download the app and made a call it allowed you to pick which number you wanted to call from.
I upgraded my phone to 2.3 and now the damn app on the market, AND on www.google.com/voice will not allow me to choose. It makes me choose a permanent line, either my sprint number or my voice number and stick with it. WTF?!

Is there a work around for this? Anybody have the first gen voice app that I can use?

I like the idea of the second phone number, but honestly if I can't USE the second phone number what the hell is the point!?!

I have Android 2.3.3 on my phone with the Google Voice build 4.2.36 which the Market is showing as the latest version for me. When I open the Google Voice app, press Menu, then More, and then Settings, I get the option for 'Making Calls' which lets me select from four different settings and one of them is 'Ask every time I make a call'. Is that what you're referring too?

yeah.. I just figured that out after I posted this. Screw Sprint. I'm switching providers, i'm sick of sprint's bs. They remove my employee discount and get rid of GV for our phones. WHAT THE F?!
